Silent Hills is officially canceled, P.T. demo will be taken down on 29th.

Konami has announced that the planned horror game for PS4 "Silent Hills", that was originally featuring Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead, and directed by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, is cancelled. Probably has something to do with the departure of Hideo Kojima from Konami.

If you haven't know yet, last year a tech demo for the game was released for PS4 and is seriously a good game by itself. And since the planned game is canned, the demo is going to be taken down as well. So before it happen, if you want to keep the game, now is the time. This is a demo, so no money involved. Just go to any account you have now and "purchase" it, then download it, and keep it until your PS4 dies.

US  |  UK  |  HK

The game will disappear from PSN worldwide on April 29th. Since Asia is the first to enter this date, everyone who are going to take it from Asian PSN are advised to download it quick. UK PSN is the next and US PSN is the last.

PSN Updates

Not only this past few week is very silent, lately, there is a lack of game sales in all of PSN webstores. It seems most of the sale goes to DLC items right now. Nevertheless we try to inform you what is going on in these PSN stores, some of the deals might suit you.

We need to remind you again that, all things marked as Add-Ons on PSN webstores are DLCs. And DLC is region locked to the games region. So if you have a game bought from US PSN, you can not buy DLC from UK PSN and vice versa.
  1. You can now download your IGC if you are EU/US PS Plus member. While JP PSN's IGC is already claimable since last week, HK PSN's IGC need to wait until 12 hours after this blog is posted. Click here for US PSN / UK PSN / HK PSN / JP PSN.
  2. Bastion (PS4) released in US PSN, and priced for $14.99 ($13.49 with Plus). This is the main spotlight of Spring Fever #6.
  3. Dragon Age II, etc and Game of Thrones sale in US PSN.
  4. Battlefield 4 MTX DLC sale in UK PSN
  5. Easter Sale still ongoing in UK PSN
  6. EA Spring Sale and NEOGEO Game Sale in HK PSN. While EA sale is not impressive, the NEOGEO game sale is very recommended. So we recommend you to check it.
  7. Another NEOGEO Game Sale is happening in JP PSN
  8. Disgaea 5 (JP) PS4 demo is out in JP PSN. Also available in HK PSN.
  9. Legend of Heroes Trails in The Sky Evolution (JP) Vita demo is out in JP PSN.
