Assassin's Creed Unity/Rogue and Sword Art Online deal live on UK PSN

Deal #7 from 12 Deals of Christmas is live now replacing the Deal #6. This time PSN Europe give discount on the latest Assassin's Creed game and Sword Art Online for Vita. No extra discount for PS Plus subscribers this time. So how much will you save from this deal?

PS4 Assassin’s Creed Unity
On sale for €44.99/AU$62.95/£39.99 (US$ 62.85)
Australian pays the least for US$52, European are paying US$56.1.

PS3 Assassin’s Creed Rogue
On sale for €34.99/AU$44.95/£24.99 (US$ 39.27)
Australian pays the least again although not by much US$37.1. European is overpriced at US$43.6

Vita Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment
On sale for €24.99/AU$37.95/£19.99 (US$ 31.41)
The price is more or less equal this time.

Again, unless European is the only one PSN account you have, don't ever tempted to buy Assassin's Creed Unity from this deal. The full priced game on US PSN is even cheaper than the UK PSN at $59.99 and even pale again in comparison with HK PSN at $50.3 or Indonesian PSN at $41.8. Keep in mind these prices are full price and not discounted.

Its twin on PS3 however, is a better deal. The game is full priced at $59.99 on US PSN and $42.57 on HK PSN. Except if you are an extremely lucky person who is a member on Indonesian PSN, where you can only pay $34.4 without waiting for any discount.

Vita owners once again get the best deal from all three. As this is currently the cheapest price to purchase this title digitally from all of PSN regions although not by a mile compared with $39.99 US PSN full price. Remember, any game you purchase from UK Store will only compatible with DLC released from any European regions, India, Australia, Middle East and Africa. DLC bought from American or Asian region won't work.

All in all, even if this deal is not too great, I have no power to stop you from registering on UK PSN. If you do like to become a member, read on how to set up a UK PSN account. The registration is free and open to everyone everywhere in the world, not limited to any nationality or place you live, you can also check the FAQ if you are in doubt. You can top-up your account from sites such as play-asia or cdkeys.

Once you are a member of UK PSN and into karaokes, UK and Finland exclusive PS3 Karaoke app SingOn is still offering famous Christmas song for free to sing such as: The Christmas Song, Jingle Bell Rock, Sleigh Ride, Frosty The Snowman, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer among others. The free song will works from your main ID, but if you are interested to purchase the song-pass, you'll have to launch the game from your UK PSN ID as it is the only valid ID for purchase and play the songs. UPDATE: One more treat for European PSN member, The Grip Games minis Collection (PS3, PSP, Vita) is now available for free to everyone, no Plus subscription required and just like EA free games last week, the game will be yours forever. We don't know if this is official or a glitch. Nevertheless, it is free. The mini games contain: The Impossible Game, One Epic Game, Minisquadron, Blimp: The Flying Adventures, 5-in-1 Arcade Hits.
